with alumi. case/copper heat sinks being the in thing im thinking of buying a few copper sheets and bonding them to the sides and top/bottem. your thoughts?

That would look really nice. Flip side, copper tarnishes very rapidly and fingerprints will show up anyplace you touch it. I suppose you could varnish it, though.

You mean bonding copper sheets to the sides of the case itself? I really dont think that would have any impact at all. The claims that aluminum cases acting as heatsinks is unproven. If they truly did make a big difference in dissipating heat, then when you touched the case it would be substantially warmer than the ambient temp.

Regardless of their cooling potential, aluminum cases rock. Once you go aluminum, you will never go back.
