i don't have it, but the site play-asia is a legit import site that ships to the us, they seem to have it in stock.

http://www.play-asia.com/hori-tactical-assault-commander-for-playstation-4/13/7090ir

on that listing it shows that it has the japan flag so i'm pretty sure it didn't come out here at all, probably only over there. i'm not sure if japanese accessories work with US consoles either so i'd check before you do purchase it.

That is what I am worried about, that and if there is software built in what language it will be in. Ugh, thanks.

i've emailed play-asia with questions about that kind of stuff before and they have responded pretty quickly, maybe shoot them an email?

i know their games that are region free typically say "region free" on them, and i didn't notice anything like that on the mouse, or any of the peripherals in general, so not sure how those work in general.

Also be aware that since this accessory mimics the movement of an analog stick there is no way to turn off mouse acceleration.

Response from them,

Yes, it will work, however, the manual will be in Japanese only.

We hope this helps.

Thanks!

yeah having a mouse "mimic" a controller would be rough to use imo, if for FPS games. but maybe with sensitivity adjustments you can make it work. i know many console fps games have different horizontal and vertical speeds too, which would be odd with a mouse.

Well I finally got tired of the controller for FPS games. Ordered it last Sunday and got here Thursday. I have only used it for Overwatch, and had to change some buttons around. I am very happy paying $140 for this product. The tracking isn't as good as on a PC, but honestly it's not far from it. I am sure it will be different in other games, as some youtube videos have shown.

Like with console ports from before, when I changed the button layout the game didn't do the same. So if it says press square or another button and I've remapped it, it doesn't use the remapped button. Annoying but after awhile I know which is which. I am much better in it, after the first game I got career high in all 5 categories. I have it on the PC and PS4 because my son plays it on PS4 and we play together. Since nobody lets you use the same account for both I got annoyed having to play with the controller. I couldn't make the player do what my mind was telling it. Dying by someone else being better is fine, dying when I am trying to do something but can't because I cannot manipulate well enough the controller sucks.

One button there is that will probably be useful for some is a 'walk' button. Press this and the character slows to a crawl, easier to hit shots with precise aiming by slowing down the character speed. There is also a 'snipe' button that does the same for the mouse. As well as an up and down button on the mouse where you can manipulate the speed of the mouse in real time for different situations.

The manual had English in it as well.I can answer any questions, or nah.
