Anyone try Psychonauts yet?

I was looking at Psychonauts and it looked like it might be a nice diversion.
Did anyone try it out yet?
Is it fit for kids?

Best game I've played in a long time. I haven't had this much fun with a video game since ape escape first came out on the PS1.

what exactly is so fun about it? The video review/preview doesn't look like nothing special. But neither did God of War and I enjoyed it.

I suppose you could just call Psychonauts an action adventure platformer. It plays like a typical platformer but there are some "treasure chest" adventure elements where you can search for stuff and also the entire game takes place in a huge kids camp. The main action stages take place in the minds of characters and you gain neat psychic powers.

Its good fun, has a great sense of humor, funny characters, fun stages (except for the last which I didn't care for myself)..its all good really. Looks nice on the pc with all the fitering turn on at a nice high res.

I recommend it myself since I dig these type of games but if anything try out the demo.

I'm finding it to be pretty fun so far, I'm really enjoying the oldschool adventure game sense of humour that Tim Schafer has put in. There are parts where it is easy to see the Grim Fandango influence.
