Anyone try a P4c on a P4B533-E?

Lastest bios has support for HyperThreading, but on the Asus website it only lists the 3.06ghz 533mhz fsb w/ HT.

Bios settings allow up to 400x4 fsb (yup, 1.6ghz fsb 🙂), but I've never seen anyone run it even close to that high.

Right now I'm maxed out at 159x4=636 fsb with my 1.6a.

So I would like to know if it is possible to run a P4c 800mhz fsb with HT on this motherboard?

And hopefully do some oc'ing also 🙂
Current memory is at 424mhz with the 3:4 ratio and slowest timings.

My ideal situation... 2.6c at 250x4 fsb with a 4:3 cpu:mem ratio and faster mem timings 😛

I have a 3.06 on a p4b-533e running 145fsb oc'd to 3.36

This is a 533fsb proc, but it does have hyperthreading

If you want a 800fsb proc, then get a 865/875 based mobo.

So that mobile proc was running 900fsb? Then I shouldn't have any trouble at 800.

Still wondering if there is anyone running a P4c on this mobo... I need to hold off on a mb/dual channel ddr upgrade since I just got suckered into the recent dell 1901fp deal 🙂
