I was planning on making a system based on a FIC AD11, and 1.33 Ghz T-bird and some PC2400 for overclocking.

Mostly curious if anyone has had good/bad experiences with the motherboard or even that kind of memory.

The deal is at http://www.step-thermodynamics.com.

Just built my TBird 1.33 with 256 2100 DDR on a FIC AD11 last week, and it has been stable as a rock. Flawless, actually. Havent done any extensive benchmarks but everything runs perfect. AMD760 is pretty darn quick!

i don't think you can go wrong with that mobo...i have it, use it and luv it.

however, keep in mind that you have limited voltage settings for ocing. plus, you have a stupid CNR riser instead of another PCI slot.

i could use a little longer PS cable - but that's box limiting, not mobo limiting, IMO.

i haven't used the PC2400 memory - i'm ocing the PC1600 because its cheaper than PC2100 and comes within a few percentage points of performance.

I was thinking about ordering this board from newegg (low cost and stable ddr). But I just noticed that they removed it (and the whole FIC category) from their page. Anyone know what's going on here? Has it been discontinued already? Does anyone know of another place to get this board for a good price?
