Anyone tried Pepsi Blue?

Doesn't pepsi distribute Dr. Pepper products anyway? When the grocery stores around here have soda, it's usually either Coke products or Pepsi products. The Dr. Pepper goes on sale with the pepsi...

Dr. Pepper/7-up are their own company. Who bottles it depends entirely on your area. In some places, the local Pepsi bottler may have the license to do it, in others the local Coke bottler may do it. In some places, they have their own bottler.

Seriously, it does remind me of nasty gummi worms. It is indeed bitter, and quite possibly the worst cola product I've ever tasted. But that's just my opinion. Glad I only bought 2 bottles!

ick.. all these new products are disgusting.. the last "new" product that i didnt gag on was seirra mist... and that was a while ago..and is nothin special

only recent concept colas that were good are crystal clear pepsi, and cherry coke/pepsi

I believe that Dr. Pepper/7-up are owned by Cadbury Schweppes (sp?)... heck... they even own Snapple... (didnt know that...)

OK, they have it at Krogers now. I just tried it and here's the skinny:

I hate those gross fruity drinks out today (Strawberry/kiwi, blue raspberry, watermelon....yuck...), so I wasn't expecting much of Pepsi Blue. It wasn't too bad! It's not as sweet as it looks (in fact, I'd say it's less sweet than regular Pepsi), and it has a head on it like root beer when you pour it into a glass. It has a light berry/cola taste that seems to be just about right, but it's super carbonated, so prepare to burp . I'd buy it again!

Pepsi's site said a diet version is not planned, but may be introduced next year.

Just picked up 2 20oz bottles at an Exxon. Great stuff. Tastes like Pepsi/Cherry Pepsi with a hint of that blue Fruitopia, but not overly sweet. Very carbonated though..

Sweet???? It's anything BUT sweet. It's got less sweeteners than regular Pepsi does.

I am drinking it as I type this.

I am not a big fan of this stuff. Tastes like a gummy bear (as mentioned) crossed with a candle shop.

Oh well.

I am going to stick with V. Coke as my choice of the new drinks.
