Anyone tried Level vodka?

Yes, pretty much all US made vodka is made from grain (with exceptions), whether it's corn, rye, wheat. Most grain vodkas are diluted with water that has been distilled. Potato vodka has a much smoother taste to it and rarely ever gives you a hangover or anything unpleasent like this. The potato vodka will be much smoother going down than it's grain counterparts. This comes from the way potatoes grow I would imagine.

As far as telling, there really isn't a good way to tell unless you research it.
 
Absolut in the 100 proof variety is my favorite, although, I am almost scared to try anything else after a bad bout with stoli...........
