So..anyone took it? if so, how did you score?

660? thats only 17 points short of a full mark score (full being 677)..

i took it twice, first time i got 593, and second it was something over 600, around ~630 i think.

You also have to take it if you were not born in the US. A friend of mine was asked to take the TOEFL after he graduated from High School, even though he had lived all his life in the US and spoke a perfect English.

BTW, isn't the computer TOEFL test based on a 300 scale?

yea i heard they changed it to a computer based format now, not sure how that goes though

Yes, the computer-based testing scores are different..you use a score table (provided by ETS, the toefl people), to compare your results to the older paper-based testing system..

I got 277.. which is 647 in paper-based testing terms.

I don't think so.I paid 45 KDs, thats around 160 US Dollars, just to take this test, and to get the score report.

There are some software simulations which use the same basic engine of the real TOEFL test.They're also not free :confused:

I guess my score is $160 if that's what it takes to take the test cause it's $160 I still got.
