My brother took it and got a 8. The minimum is 38. I looked at some practice tests and they look pretty hard. I am going to tutor him this month can anyone recommend a good source to prepare from?
 
he got 8 on a test where the marines require a 38?

Easiest test I've ever taken, literally.
The GED is harder than that thing.
It actually made me NOT want to join the armed forces.
 
I think your brother should give up... he needs to quadruple his score on a basic test, so unless he was drunk/hungover for the first one, might want to be a not army person, or something.
 
They only need a 38?

IIRC I got a 92. They may have changed it some since then, but that was only a few years ago..3-4?

Ditto, I only missed 1 math question. I scored the highest of all time at my local recruiting office.

After looking at the sample test I'm not sure whether that fact says more about you or the people who typically take it. No offense. 😉
 
WTF? This was probably the easiest test that I have ever taken in my life. Although its been about 8 years since I've taken it, so it might have changed. I know I scored extremely high, which is surprising because I sucked in high school.
 
Maybe he got 8 less than he needed for the MOS he wanted. Is your brother a donkey, a chicken, or some other sort of farm animal?

There was nothing remotely as difficult as the questions on the above site. I use the term "difficult" loosely.
