anyone taken calculus and passed in high school?

doesn't matter, just don't be a dumbass like me and drop out k?

take it all the way to the end, cuz you'll end up retaking it in college anyway

it's nice so that when the professor is lecturing you on it, you've already seen it and can somewhat follow

I passed it with a B in high school. Even if you do the bare minimum in high school, once you get to college, you'll more than likely have to retake it and then it will all be somewhat familiar to you.

Same with me...got damn near an A+ first semester of senior year, then a C second semester 🙂

its really not that hard if u do your homework everyday and have some good fundamental algebra skills.
calculus is the reason that we learn algebra, at least thats what my teacher told me

got an A the first 2 six-weeks as a senior in HS, then I got bored in that class, started staring at this girls boobs who sat next to me and sleeping all day, thus ended up the year with a B average.

now in college, nothing lost, no regrets.

Heh, I know what you mean. I got a solid A the first semester, and somehow managed to get an A- second semester with like an 88.5% in the class. 🙂

But, my school only taught the AB course, so that's the AP I took.

Heh.. you guys are making me feel like an idiot. I ended up taking what we called "pre-calculus" in HS, and took the full calculus course my first year in college. After that I took differential equations.. Funny thing is that now, over 10 years later, I don't think I could factor a quadratic to save my life 🙂

i got 100% in calculus during high school.

However i almost failed my Calculus III in university, darn hard.

Any grade over a C is overkill, in my book. Now that i'm in college, anything over an 80(My school's version of a C) is overkill. 🙂

Wow, me too! They should not allow big boobed girls in Calculus class with a bunch of horny 17-18 year olds...think I left a permanent faceprint on my desk as well...passed with a C..on the quarter grading scale..A first semesterB the second..C the third and D the fourth..

Of course my teacher was a 60 y/o woman named Pixie who hadn't taught math in twenty years..had a sub for the first month or so. The person who was supposed to teach it(a teaching God if there ever was one) took a vice-principal ship over the summer.

I did Calculus in my Grade 12 year here in Canada, got 100 percent...
I then did Calculus in my 1st year of University, got 98% in that...

🙂

Well, i've spent 6 months factoring quadratics (i'm in algebra 2, one step below pre calculus, and I still can't factor one to save my life 🙂
