Anyone suffering from connection problems?

I lost 4 full days work due to a connection failure while I was away at my parents, and I was very annoyed about it! 😉 So much so that I have decided to buy a redundant router that will switch to mobile broadband in the event of a failure.

Considering the router is less than the price of one GPU, you might want to consider it if you experience regular network problems. Of course you will need a mobile broadband contract, the cheapest of which in the UK is about £7.50 per month. I was more tempted as I'm still stuck in an 18 month contract despite hardly using it, so thought "how can I make this useful?"

Edit: corrected typo.

I have a redundency too: through a fiberoptic broadband (main connection) and ADSL (through POTS). I had the ADSL-modem before and the the router was quite easy to configure - condiserng the my router is an old pentium PC with a 4 NICs (to the fibreoptic modem, ADSL-modem and two switches)
