I will soon be the owner of a new 7900GTX for no cost. I was using a 7900GT superclocked before.

I heard most were recalled, or halted production.

Do any of you guys have one still running great?

Huh, I think it was the 7900GT that was having problems due to defective Samsung memory modules. I have never heard of any problems with the 7900GTX; in fact, I have heard the dual-slot cooler on it is incredible.

I have been running a BFG 7900 GTX for quite a while now with zero problems. Been great.

Edit: I can confirm the cooler is incredible. At idle, my card runs 35C, and at full load, NEVER ONCE has it gone over 43C. So yea, thats pretty incredible.

I have a evga 7900gtx and its working great.
I did however register it with evga as I read on their forums quite a few of them failing with bad ram chips after about a year.
The good part is if evga does have to replace the card I can get a 8800gts 320mb in exchange as they no longer stock the 7900gtx and there tech support considers that
the next up replacement part.

You are wrong in that. The reason I am now getting a free 7900GTX is because that is what EVGA is giving me in replace for my 7900GT CO SC that I RMA'd a week ago. I was worried because I thought the cards were problematic and discontinued.

Was hoping I got an 8800GTS 320mb, but the 7900GTX is fine.

The 7900 GTX is one of the best video cards I've ever used and it probably has the finest cooler ever made. It's dead silent even under load and driver issues are so minimal you could count them on one hand.

With identical drivers in the same system my 8800 Ultra still has a lot more problems than my 7900 GTX.
