I have my ICQ # in Trillian, but only because Trillian supports it. Otherwise I would have left it for dead.

Uh oh!

how many phone numbers do you remember?
I can tell you the screen names of at least 50% of all the people on my AIM buddy list. Good luck trying to remember 10-15 ICQ numbers

they have pretty good search options so random people can message you. I got a bunch of messages from chicks around the world 😉

Offline messaging is awesome for ICQ, but same works for yahoo. I still use it just because its in Trillian and my number is easy to remember 36256135

I even remember my Blockbuster account number! Much better than carrying around a membership card - because if those are lost it is a PITA to get your account closed.

That and their file transferring always seemed better than the others. I have hell trying to send anything through MSN

5346887, I have no clue why I remember that after all these years, but I used it exclusively until college and then went over to the AIM side. When I remember to install Trillian I'll log on, and that lasts until my next reformat.

Edit: I searched my number on ICQ, my nickname was Dragon, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA Those were the days. /endreminiscing

Yeah, offline messaging is probably ICQ's best feature.

Seriously. I hate when people on AIM message me when I'm away, then promptly log off.
