Just got the Collectors edition from steam today. I was wondering anyone play on the forums? Got bored of ToR so i picked this up today
I was up until 3 weeks ago, have too many games to play ie Tera closed beta test this weekend ,Mass Effect 3 next week,X3 Teran Conflict so had to stop playing Rift, want a Rift tip to level up fast do the PvP war campaigns you will level up to 50 so fast you won't believe it then at 50 the fun starts for your gear.
A lot of players go in PvP campaigns trying to get to level up to 50 with 40 PvP rank and the gear.
I took my time ,did not PvP until level 32 then got to 50 so fast via PvP wafronts that I was catching up on quests at level 50 inbetween PvP etc...
Having a odd problem. Whenever i turn in a quest or grab a quest another window pops up to ask the npc more question. Is this standard?
Maybe that's new, I don't remember that fast of leveling from warfronts or 'war campaigns'.

That's standard... I also found it annoying, but as far as I know can't be changed. I played a couple months and then unsubbed. It's an excellent game, but I feel like it's more for hardcore types rather than casual players.
I still play. Just mostly on the weekends. I suggest finding a higher pop server as the dynamic events are triggered by the number of people in the area. So the less populated servers = Less dynamic events, and more boredom.
Just wait until tonight and look at the shard list, and find one that is atleast high population.
If you started on another server, you can easily transfer your toons. However, you cannot transfer to some that are over populated.
I play on Byriel but that is one of the more empty servers. But it doesn't matter to me at this point because I just run dungeons/warfronts on my lvl 50 toons. I am not in the wild exploring and doing quests so the dynamic events are meaningless to me at this point.
I still play RIFT(since beta), WoW/WAR/SWtor on the other hand never lasted longer than 2 months past release. Of course it mostly has to do with my current guild that kept things fun, but I have to say Trion did a pretty decent job making the game playable compared to other dev teams, it's the little details that made it stand out in the sea of generic MMOs.
However, unless you really enjoy end-game raiding and/or battleground-style PVP, it ain't got much more to offer.
Thanks for the advice. I am also currently on the Byriel server.
If you stick with Byriel, you can look me up. Airguitar & Egads, add me to your friends list. I can run you through dungeons or heal you while you quest. Doesn't matter. I just like to screw around, so I don't mind just following you around and helping you out.
