I played quite a bit of DC a couple versions ago. I also played some after DC Final was released.
DC is a great mod and is nice when I get a little bored of 1942, I just don't think it's quite as much fun as the original, so I keep going back.
I've actually been getting into Counterstrike lately. CS 1.6, not Source. I had just discovered CS a couple weeks before the original MOH:Allied Assault was released at the beginning of 2002 and once I discovered MOH, I never played CS again. It's actually a lot of fun though.

yes, but all the good american servers went *poof* since last saturday. all I can find with over 32players is in finland, and most kick you if your ping is over 150ms. (most americans can't hit below that over seas, I usually hit around 160ms and I've got a 384kb upload on dsl)

what search engine are you using? gamespy has very few DC servers even listed, most have fewer that 32 players.

I get on every few days and play. Usually CTF El Alamein. I love that map.
Some servers have modded maps running, they have flying jeeps, battleships in the desert, old style 1942 planes dogfighting F14's. I am JudoHobo if you see me on. I am usually at the top of the scoreboard, unless some uber clan is on.

I used to use it all the time, I got tired of the popups trying to get me to buy the full version.
edit: re-installed it, way more servers available. oh well, I guess I'll either have to pay up or put up with the popups.

What is so different about the Forgotten Hope mod? I remember playing it back when it first came out and it was reaaaally buggy. I'm downloading it now (it's been going for about an hour and a half and is only 29% done). Also are there very many multiplayer servers available for it?
