I was wondering if this has happened to other people as well. In addition, Verizon billed me for 20 bucks because someone that google (sold, leaked?) my cell phone number to was able to sign me up with some retarted horoscope service. Now I have noticed that when you put that information in, google enters it as your 'mobile number', (which I have since removed). Maybe the perpetrator wasn't affiliated with google but used some security oversight to get at this data? I'm usually pretty weary of giving my cell phone # out to webpages, but since google has been thus far pretty good about their 'do not evil' policy, I figured it would be safe. Guess not. Kinda wondering if anyone had a similar experience with them.
