Anyone solve the NV loop/BSOD error?

I get lockup or BSOD whenever I try to use 3D functionality of my Geforce2 Ti-500. I've tried Detonators 27.20, 23.12, 21.83, 12.14 all without success. I've installed the latest Via 4in1 driver set which was supposed to fix the memory write que problem. I've reduced my memory settings. All without success. I'm getting ready to give up on WindowsXP. Has anybody had any luck fixing this problem?

System: AthlonXP-1800,512MB 2100 ddr, Epox 8KHA+, Gainward Geforce2 Ti-500, Audigy MP3,IBM Deskstar 60 GB HD ATA 100, 16XDVD

OS: WindowsXP Home with all the patches

You've tried most of the standard fixes it seems... try dropping to AGP 2X or 1X.
As a last resort you could drop your AGP aperture size to 8MB or below.

I had the best success with the 21.81's and 27.10's.

There is still no hard and set solution that works for everyone, but there are many things that 'smoetimes' work. You've tried most of those but you may want to give the options i listed above a try.
