Anyone seen this new Friskies catfood commercial? Linked...

I saw this mocked on all the late-night shows months ago. It has been somewhat viral since it first started airing.

It seems like they intentionally made the commercial to be as stupid as a cat food commercial could POSSIBLY be!

Showing a factory where various animal by-products are pureed en masse and squirted into cans probably would've been more accurate, but would've sold less stuff. 😉

Maybe if they'd have unicorns dancing around in the factory, while miniature Barry Whites operated the controls......maybe then sales would improve.

Pets are a HUGE industry in America. Like multi-billion huge.
Spoiling Americans with overpriced crap they dont need is not exclusive to humans. We are stuck so far up our own asses we need to take our pets with us. They get treated better than humans in other countries.
Yes, advertising for cat food is definitely worth the effort.

We all have things we don't understand. For me it is this obsession that people that hate the idea of people having pets and caring about them have for coming into threads about animals to tell us how wrong we are and how we are wasting money that could be spent on some other cause. I think I will go give my cats and dogs a treat and send off some money to help that poor cat with the nail in its head. Feel free to be pissed.

I love pets. I like cats and dogs.

However, some people OBSESS over their animals and I think that's going overboard.

So give your cats and dogs a treat. Send money to the kitty with the nail in its head. That's cool.
 
Neat commercial, too bad Friskies dry food (I know this is wet food commercial) is really bad for your cat since is mostly corn.
