Do you abhor slapstick?

Super Troopers looks like some dumb fun. If you go into it expecting high brow comedy then I think your definition of comedy needs to be adjusted. I'll be seeing it cause I think it looks like a riot.
 
Trust me, guys, the trailer does NO justice to the actual movie. It's incredibly funny.. yeah there are a lot of retarded toilet humor jokes in there but what sets this apart is that the TIMING for all the jokes is perfect.

And here's a special treat for you; the FIRST 11 MINUTES of the movie!!
 
I saw the trailer back when Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back came out, and I have been waiting for this movie to come out since then. Feb 15 is my day.

 
I saw the entire movie in mid january when the writers/actors came to my campus to promote it. It was awsome.
The movie just gets better and better after the opening scene, and has some great one liners:
"Biker? I'm a moron. "
"Enhance!"
"Afghinstianamation?"

They also did a Q and A after the show, and apparently they really did chug a bottle of suryp.
They made the movie for 1.3 mil in 30 days, with most of the money coming from the profits from their previous film and an investor.
So go see it!
 
I've been waiting for that movie for almost 6 months now. I think it used to be called State Troopers or something like that, they just changed the title recently. I can't wait to see it.

For everyone that says this movie is gonna suck, did you like Half Baked? How bout Office Space? Or even with a stretch American Pie, Not Another Teen Movie, or any of the other slapstick movies that came out recently?
 
Nope, it's always been Super Troopers. One of my friends saw it a year ago at the Aspen film festival. He was actually sharing a room with Jay Chandrashekar (the director / lead actor) which was really cool. I'm going to buy 5 tickets just to support the movie. It's funny as hell.
 
yea, it's a funny movie. they came to my school and we got a free preview of it. we saw the whole movie, and the cast was here. it was extremely funny. definately reccommend it.
 
I actually think it looks pretty damn funny. When I first saw the trailer I was like "Great, another stupid "Not Another Teen Movie" type crap ass movie", but then I actually paid attention to it and it was quite humorous.
 
Bleh, looks stupid. Not my type of movie... I need some wit humor mixed in with stupidity humor at least....
 
There's plenty of witty humor, they just don't show it in the trailer. FYI, the trailer contains scenes almost exclusively from the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. 🙂
