Anyone seen the re-mastered and edited Star Trek original series?

they showed it at 2:30am on Monday morning on a high def channel where I live.
Nicely done.
The added effects were not intrusive. I especially like the fact tht the computer consoles actually made some sense instead of just colored lights like bad '50's scifi movies. Yet the wacky screens around the top of the bridge still had the murky scenes which somewhat resemble space art.
And the Romulan ship actually looked like a real ship.

Part of the charm was the lame effects.

Beats me.
It was on a high def channel so unless you live in Vermont you will have to check your local listings.
Note that Nick or whateve channel has been showing Star trek does NOT have the new enhanced versions.
Basically I just searched tv guide online for ALL showings of Star trek and tivo'ed them until I found it.
Also note that not all have been enhanced yet.
The first was Balance of Terror and the second Devil in the Dark.
Try searching for them in your listings.
I think the real reason they enhanced them was for DVD sales and not necessarily for broadcast so they are not advertising the enhanced broadcasts.
