Anyone seen the old WW2 Disney cartoons?

we're shoving right off for home....................

I never watched any of the Disney ones but am fairly familiar with Looney Tunes pertaining to war

Yep...I'm an old fuck and remember those very well. (ok, sort of well) 😀
The fun part was, I never even saw it as war propaganda, but I was too young to understand that concept. It never made me feel like enlisting though, that's for sure.
Same with some of the racist stuff. Some of the more outlandish blackface caricatures, I didn't even recognize that they were meant to be black people, I just thought of them as cartoon characters. I never saw it as racist until I learn that that was its intent.

I remember them when I was a kid. Movie houses always showed a cartoon, some newsreel stuff and then the feature film.

Its sad the only one brave enough to create this sort of stuff these days is South Park team with their Osama episode and the whole Team America movie - i'd love to see some good bugs/daffy/mickey/donald propaganda for the war effort but everyone is so PC these days and would never let any of this get out to the mainstream.
