ANYONE see this??

Wow nice find. Those are some expensive M/B's but for the price and what your getting it is acutally a nice deal.

That Asus board has my name all over it. Im trying to hold out for SS2 (probably more wishful thinking than anything as it probably wont be reintroduced). As a result i am upgrading lat Q2 early Q3 next year.

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe nForce 4 SLI Athlon 64(FX) Skt939 DDR ATX Motherboard w/Audio, Gigabit LAN, RAID/Serial ATA Retail ***Free 2nd Day***

Hell, it BETTER be free 2nd day air for $225 freakin dollars!!!

Well, it's only $35 more than the MSI Ultra board, so I'd rather have the Asus SLI. Any ideas on if we can preorder?

Is anybody REALLY willing to pay $225 for a motherboard?

Not me, maybe when SLI hits $150 and is debugged (Q2 hopefully)

The question that I have is: will the ASUS (and MSI, for that matter) work with 20-pin ATX connectors? I know that the Gigabyte does.

Don't see the Asus. Price is ok. Hopefully will drop in price in a couple of months when I plan to upgrade 🙂

Here's a review of the MSI NF4 Ultra....that's what I'm interested in. And since I haven't upgraded in over 5 years from the original Geforece 256(!), $189 is OK for me.

When I looked, all the NF4 mobo's were "back ordered". So OK, they are for sale, but not in stores unless they sold out since yesterday.

Looks like that Soundblaster on the MSI ain't the old school one afterall 😎
Text If you click on the manufaturer specs the.pdf calls it the Sound Bluster Live!

That's strange....the K8N Neo4 Platinum supports AGP & PCI-Express video cards??? Something's gotta be wrong here. That's what the manufacturer's link says.

Out of stock 🙁

One builder that will be using this board is not expecting the boards in until 12/10.

Right from Asus' press release:

Unlike the SLI solutions by other manufacturers, the EZ Plug supports the 20-pin standard, which is still currently the mainstream. Users who want to upgrade to the latest SLI platform, can save the extra cost on a 24-pin power plug. In addition, a LED light issues friendly reminders when the EZ Plug is needed to ensure the graphics cards can run at full power without compromising system reliability.

holy shnikies those are expensive! I remember when most top of the line mobos were around 100-130 bucks and it wasn't all that long ago....
