That was nasty. The full force of a large defenseman RUNNING, concentrated in that one spot. I doubt he'll return.

With the field conditions you know they are wearing the longest spikes possible, that had to hurt. He is probably heading to the locker room for some "Hydro" therapy.... ;)

I knew people would start saying that it was deliberate but watching replays and the video that was linked it can't be

saw that when it happened last night. for some reason the announcers didn't pick up on it until a few minutes later. not sure why they were laughing about it... by the time they picked up on it, he was clearly injured and in pain. the laughter was a bit annoying.

It's not like I actually had any respect for Tony Cornhole before.

Yet another reason to legalize mary jane. Had he been stoned he would have just gotten right up.

It was deliberate, but I don't think there was any malice involved. The field was sloppy, the ball came loose, in order to make that extreme of a cutback, the defender had to plant his foot somewhere. He simply chose the least slippery surface. I'm not even sure that's a penalty. Funny as hell and I'd be screaming murder if I was a Ricky Williams fan, but a clean play.

Ouch! But not deliberate! It was a choice between his teammate and something besides his teammate. Easy choice, Ricky just happened to be under foot.

Products of ESPN. Wouldn't expect anything less.

Sincerely doubt it as it was hardly intentional. His foot was already in the air before Williams settled to the ground. His head was also looking upfield towards the ball, not down at Williams where it would have needed to be if he was trying to make sure he stepped on him.
