When HE scores a TD, it helps his TEAM, and he damn well knows it. TO alone has turned the Eagles into much more than they've ever been, because now they have a legit WR.

I don't want a league full of boring, robot-players who have no personality. Give me guys like Moss, TO, Deion etc who add some flavor and excitement to the game.

Sports stars are role models for kids and represent the NFL. What does being a jackass and tearing a sign away from some fans show? It's as disrespectful as giving the fan a finger.

I don't see it that way. I don't equate obscene gestures to tearing down a sign. How is it disrespectful of TO to tear down a sign with his picture on it, which compares him to a rat?

I've had signs taken from me at sporting events by opposing fans and they've torn them up. I don't find it disrespectful, the very fact that it bothered them enough to take notice and take action made it well worth my while.

As far as the role model thing, sure, kids look up to athletes. But TO didn't kill somebody. He isn't a crackhead. He's a guy who plays his ass off and has fun doing what he does. If tearing down a sign and spiking a ball on a star make you a bad role model, then there are issues.

As a devout Cleveland fan, I was a little annoyed that he tore down the sign. I was more annoyed that the Browns D-back let TO behind him - terrible coverage.

It was a good game and I was praying for an upset.:frown:

I didn't see the big deal. Browns fans had no weight in the Garcia/Owens fued, no sense with them putting banners up all over the place. I'd rather have Owens than Garcia any day of the week.

also, i saw the replay, he tore it down, but didnt rip it up or anything so i didnt see it as that big of a deal.

I have no problem with people having pride. But there are many top recievers who don't resort to his antics. They have pride as well.
