Hot babe, great cleavage scenes.

But I really hope you're kidding about learning stuff about the Freemasons.

Yep, few nights ago. I enjoyed it.

Why is the role of the "detective" the most overly type-cast role in Hollywood? I'd like to start seeing movies with detectives played by people I haven't seen play a detective fifty times over in other movies.

anything that jerry bruckheimer is involved with will NOT be educational. period.

that is all.

/likes nick cage but DAMN does this look stupid...

What the heck are Freemasons anyway? I was looking up some things for my daughter's homework the other day (she goes to Catholic school) and I stumbled upon something that says that the Catholic Church lists is as wrong to join a secret society, such as the Free Masons. What do they do that could be considered wrong? We have a Masonic Auditorium in town that's associated with them (it's nice too, so they must have some $$$$). Just curious.

We had a freemason concpiracy theorist when I was at college. It was great fun to listen to him rant. Apparently the Freemasons worship Satan and kill senior members that try leaving the group, control the world, are tied to the illuminati and all sorts of fun things. 🙂
An example of some of the charges against them.

And the great thing is, being a secret society even if they deny them, the theorists would just say it's them being secret again.

Well, I don't like Nicholas Cage, and I was expecting this to be a pretty terrible movie, but I have to say that I was enthralled by it. Its like a more intellectual (now whether or not it was being totally or even halfway actually factual is another story) version of Indiana Jones. It helps that Bruckheimer produced it as all of their movies have great production values. Of course it could've been better, but its worth a watching.

Oh, and Sean Bean turning bad was so obvious (hmm, I wonder if its because he does that in every movie he's ever been in, Goldeneye, Fellowship of the Ring, Ronin....).

it was worth 14 bux and a couple hours...kept me and my girl entertained for a little while...i don't think it would have much replay value though

Read "Handbook of Today's Religions" and "Kingdom Cults".

Why does post count make someone smarter than someone else?

Wasn't there someone on these forums looking for that tresure? He said he will find it once someone on here writes him a simple sequence program.

Spoilers:

Anyone else notice that the shadow of the tower part was completely unrealistic? The position of the sun in the sky changes every day of the year, so the shadow of the tower would point to a different spot each day.. and not all points would be on the wall that he needed to look in.
