An odd (crackpot) theory just occurred to me...
Why does Nina run everything at Massive Dynamic (aka where is Dr. Belle)? My thought is what if Walter has multiple personality disorder and Dr. Bell is one of his personalities. I was wondering if we've been given some exact dates on when:
A. massive dynamic was founded
B. Dr. Bell disappeared
C. When Walter was locked away
D. Were there other people involved in their research that could say for sure (the lab assistant is dead and probably past the 5 hour cutoff).

Does anyone have the requisite knowledge to quickly disprove this one?

I was wondering that also. I don't recall anyone saying Dr. Bell disappeared, did they? I don't recall the reason for never seeing him though. I always thought it was because he was so busy or just a super high up important dude that he didn't have time to waste on the little things.

or maybe Nina IS Dr. Bell?

I don't think Nina is Dr. Bell because of the way she credits him repeatedly for the use of her hand. He could conceivably be from the alternate dimension...

If I recall, dr. Bell was walter's partner at some point, so the he doesn't exist or is also walter wouldn't really flow there.

I am starting to think Dr. Bell is from the other dimension. I thought I remembered them saying that one dimension was slightly ahead and more advanced then the other. This could be why Massive Dynamic has so much advanced tech. Could Dr. Bell have been the person the started the collision course by warping into our world?
