Anyone see any problems with this way of backing up my movies ?

1. I use shrink to make an ISO image of the movie

2. I use Nero to Burn the Movie.iso file ?

On my other computer I do it this way that works good:

1. I use shrink to make an ISO image of the movie

2. Burn the ISO file with CloneDVD

This computer dosen't want to work with CloneDVD for some reason it will burn the ISO file but then at 100% it just sits there not finishing and my computer freezes up.

Useing Shrink to make DVD files and then burning them with Nero works good but I'm not sure about ISO files ?

you can use dvddecryptor to burn dvds?

i thought dvd decryptor was used to make the ISO file... that's what i use it for? if it can do both, why use dvd shrink at all?

Yep:

DVDDecrypter > Mode > ISO Read and ISO Write.

You need shrink to remove extras, and compress if needed.

oh, cool thanks for the clarification. i didnt know that. could you alternatively use auto gk insted of dvd shrink to transcode / compress?
