Anyone running a GigE network with Jumbo Frames at home?

Can you give me your experiences running gige at home with jumbo frames do you see a lot of improvement? what happens to other products like the xboxs and the replay tvs that dont support jumbo frames, i assume that the normal mtu decrement algorithm kicks in and everything will work fine, is that the case?

Sorry to thread crap, but this could probably be answered much better in the Networking forum. I get pretty good response in there to my questions usually (when they're not too complicated).
