anyone RMA through BFG?

hi everyone,

i recently had to RMA my BFG 6800 GT. they received it on thursday, november 17. what is the expected turn around time? i'm hoping to get my replacement before turkey day

Turn around for me was a few days but I gave my card number for the advance replacement.

Very unlikely, no matter who you're RMA'ing it thru. Usually takes a few business day at a minium for them to process it, test it, then decide to repair or replace it, then actually send the replacement. For you to get it before the 24th, it would have to ship Monday. I'd say it will more likely ship sometime the week after Thanksgiving at the earliest. That's not a knock on BFG, that's just the way it is with most any manufacturer.

For instance AMD's support is nothing short of incredible, but their turn around time is still about 10 business days on average.

good deal. i will get my replacement video card today. there was a 3 business day turn around time for me. can't wait to go home from work and get my pc up and running again.
