I got the G-rated version when my younger brother was born (When a mommy and daddy love each other...). Health class in 4th grade got the nuts and bolts down. But the parents never sat me down (thankfully!) for "the talk."

Never really got it. By the time my parents considered giving me the talk it basically went down like "Do you know about X" and I responded with "Um... ya." I think my first "official" course (not the stuff you learn from friends and dirty magazines 😛) was in 5th grade. Then they did another one in like 7th or 8th grade... and then AGAIN in 9th grade... the last one was more like STD Scare Tactics 101 though. 😛

My family is a bunch of hippies.. I knew a lot of the mechanics at a fairly young age

I never really got one. While my dad was giving me a haircut, he told me this:
"Your penis is very important part of your body that will make you happy someday, so take care of it."

I didn't know that girls had a sexual orifice until several years later. I thought there was just nothing there, like a barbie doll.
