I remember getting a ride in one and thinking it wasn't too bad.
Of course, it was rated one of the 50 worst cars ever.
Most people probably only ever saw one in the movie, Die Hard 3.

Yes. I almost bought an 86 Yugo GV when I was 17. The guy wanted $100 for it, I offered $50, and apparently he was offended by that. It needed a new clutch cable, and it only had 36k miles. But yugo miles are like dog years.
