Speaking of bad facelifts, does anyone find Conan's face to be quite unnaturally tight?

Geez, people, just age gracefully.

Tell that to old people on assisted living and people on live support. Just die gracefully. You're suppose to die, stop wasting money and prolong your mystery and affect people around you.

Hmmm... was that too much?

I am sitting here trying to figure out what in the hell you meant by " live support" and "prolong your mystery" .

Too much? Ummm, yeah it was too much for me to comprehend!

Peace

He has had his face rearranged before :p I remember seeing a couple of his less than stellar boxing matches. From the wiki
In 1991, Rourke decided that he "?had to go back to boxing", because he felt that he "?was self-destructing?[and] had no respect for myself being an actor." When Rourke became a professional boxer, he won all of his fights against minor opponents (and had one fight end in a draw). However, he never achieved national prominence and he received a number of injuries, including a broken nose, toe, ribs, a split tongue, and a compressed cheekbone. His trainer during his boxing career was Hells Angels member Chuck Zito.

Boxing promoters stated that Rourke was too old to do well against top-level fighters. Indeed, Rourke himself admits that entering the ring was a sort of personal test: "?just wanted to give it a shot, test myself that way physically, while I still had time (interview in The Gate with Christopher Heard)." In 1995, Rourke retired from boxing and returned to acting.

I heard he was reprising his role as Marv in the Sin City sequel. Maybe he's trying to save production costs and get his face all screwed up beforehand.

This is the one thing I found bad about watching HDTV.
Damn some people really do look awful trying to cover up their age.
Was watching the democratic convention and you could easily see those who had facelifts and/or were pouring on the makeup.

It's quite enjoyable, but I've always thought Barfly was his best.

NO! KT you of all people here should have seen SPUN, and realized his utter genius in this film. If you have and didn't look again, if you didn't and didn't then FUCKING WATCH SPUN, because it's a great fucking film.

Barfly was good though.

What, exactly, are you saying?

Sure, I'd like to live forever. However, if and when it comes to be my time to die, I would prefer to die of natural causes as a consequence of old age, and die painlessly in my sleep. In other words, gracefully. :)

SPUN was pretty awesome...but some of the cinematography did make me feel sick...not to mention the bleak story line. Either way, Rourke really has some unbelievably awesome acting chops from time to time.
