Anyone remember playing Marvel vs Capcom 2?

I've been playing it for a little while now but I can't seem to unlock Juggernaut, magneto, Felicia, B.B. Hood, Dan, Thanos, Morrigan, Servbot, and Gambit...

Everytime I go to buy a character I get the Sold out sign. I've beaten Abyss in Arcade Mode and Score Attack many times.

Does anyone remember how to unlock these last characters?
 
All I can find is the moves. Like how to perform this move and that move...I don't see how to unlock these characters. I'm sure its something small that I'm missing. I just don't see what it is.

How did you unlock them for the dreamcast?
 
in dreamcast i think u had to use credits or something to purchase them and alt costumes.
