Gosh, that's too far, I might as well just go to NYC. I've only been to Seattle once, that was on the way to Reno, NV.

What Prov. is Vancouver in? Is there a lot of French speaking going on there?

Beautiful British Columbia............ also know as the host of the 2010 Winter Olympics........... pot central probably for North America........... San Francisco North (although I've heard rumbblings that Toronto wants that title)............ Hollywood North (Stargate SG1, 24, many movies & the Xfiles was filmed here as well as 21 Jump Street).

Not too much French spoken here.

Yes, I'm familar with X-files being done there. So it is very easy to get stinky tofu there? We have a boba tea lounge at the local college campus so that easier to track down. I even order a kit from the net. I didn't realize that you have to make them fresh daily and it takes about 3 hours every batch. What a PITA.

So easy to find Stinky Tofu & other Asian foods 😀 Argueably the best Chinese Food outside of Asia (I mean the real stuff) 😀

Lots of Boba tea Cafes EVERYWHERE 😀

We have Cheap & Good Sushi also 😀

Oh sushi that's both good and cheap!?!?! Do you guys have those revolution sushi bar?

They have a revolving belt sending plates of sushi around the bar, the cost is usually $2-3 per plate.

We have some good all you can eat places for $17 Cdn (~$12 US) same goes for Korean BBQ ....... and Lots of good Pho Places 😀

Wow, I really miss Dim Sum, That's one thing that I always want to get when I'm in DC. *Drool

Recently we do have two Korean places that open up, but Korean BBQ is really expensive, I can't eat there every other week. I do remember going to an all you can eat Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia.

Pho places are dime a dozen here. I always get fresh spring rolls, yellow pancakes, and seafood egg noodles. If I'm really hungry, I'd add rocket shrimps.

You're making me hungry. The cafe don't open until 7:30...

If you like Sking or Snowboarding........ we have Whistler Blackconb (2hr drive) or we have our 3 local mountains Cypress, Grouse & Seymour 😀 10 minutes from downtown 😀

Yes, I love to ski, I made a special trip to Vail last year because I had season pass to Heavenly, and I could ski free at Vail. I don't know if I can spend too much money this year on skiing anywhere else but Virginia.
