anyone read this month's Maximum PC Hardware Assasinator ?

I found it to be a total waste of space. It's one thing to do it on a web page, but when I'm paying for it, I get pissed.....

I don;t thing hardocp is that crazy.

They used a shotgun to shoot on a poor HP printer ! 🙁

Dang !

err

I would have to agree with Muadib, I thought it was kind of a useless waste of space. I do love the mag though.

ReMeDy{WcS} - What the hell is wrong with Intel and Dell? Intel = a $170 700@933 for me and Dell is the top choice and reccomendation by me to people that don't build. You can't even come close on price to Dell when building. They use top of the line hadware at ungodly low prices.

Obviously you are an AMD zealot. My view is the more brands the merrier. I can't wait to build this Duron system I am accumulating parts for. Also, if MaxPC were bias towards intel, why would they award AMD CPU of the year honors?

EDIT - MaxPC, erroneously said PCMag

I don't read Maximum PC...there article are EXTREMELY biased and the info is always old anyway in this internet age.

Waste of money and time IMHO.

I enjoy MaxPC as far as magazines go. Don't really enjoy reading articles online and it doesn't go in my briefcase for train reading. I am sick of the PCWorld type magazines where the info is very old and targeted to the corporate or newbie user. I also don't spend my life online either.
