Anyone read the "Roger" thread in FS/T?

Cool thats two parts. Anyone have a cpu he can use? Faster than a 166 MMX or a p100.

However, we need to know from Crysla exactly what Roger needs (or even if he is interested). Obviously a vid-card and probably Motherboard.

I have a spare computer that I'd donate to Roger, computer specs here:

I know I'm trying to sell it, and its not the greatest computer in the world (shared main system RAM, won't do 1024x768 without weird fuzzy lines) but I'd rather have Roger back. If his HD and/or RAM still works from his old one I could probably pull it from that one (not trying to be cheap but its the two components that I actually had in use before I built that computer) Roger is a good guy and did a hell of a lot for this board.

I just wanted to know Rog was doing alright... I understand his situation, and i feel horrible for us supplying him with a faulty card. I say we make another thread and put him together a duron box or something...

let's see... i can spare a dinky HDD... 3.2 GB, it's in use, but i can format it. it's a 5400rpm WD caviar, several years old... but still kicking =). i have w2k on it in a dual booting capacity... the other os is on another drive...

um, my c466 is just sitting here... i planned on putting it in another system, but that ain't happening any time soon... got a gw fdp here too... you know, that freakingly large HS... i have some aluminum goop left in a syringe...

if crysla can vouch for roger, then i'll be willing to part with them...

that means i have to get antistatic stuffs for shipping... good thing i know several places =) >>

The best option might be for everybody to chip in to buy Roger a myfavoritePC. That way, he has more time to spend with his family.

anyone have a copy of that page locally? i remember it was posted real early one morning and i got my two cents in real early 😉 . i may have a k6-2 500 + mobo if the board gets rma'd for sure...
