Yes, I read it. At first I couldn't believe the title was about THE ROGER. Then I couldn't believe all the crap people were saying about him. I think those that expressed concern for his well being were more on track with the possible reason he has been silent. I sure hope he is okay.

I was wondering where Roger is. I can't believe what those people are saying about them, shouldn't that deserve instant banning. Don't these people realize that some people do have real lives and other things concern them.

Roger is one of the nicest people on here, and I miss him. He always was nice to me, from the first day I came here, and I just hope everything is ok with him. :)

I haven't had any personal dealings with him, so I can't comment from that perspective, but I have seen plenty of things he's done for a lot of people, and I find it hard to believe that someone would call him a troll. There'd better be a whole lot of hard evidence in your hands before you call someone who's done so much for the board a troll........

It looks like the thread is gone. I was reading through it and it disappeared from my screen. People can get pretty tough and talk a lot of crap from behind their keyboards. In real life, a lot of them would never talk about anyone this way.

I've utilized the assistance of Roger when a deal in the past turned sour for me. He was very dedicated and persistant in getting the issue resolved for me. I hope this gent is O.K., but just living a quiet life for a while.

Everything you need to know is on that thread Russ. I never used Rogers services but he was always helping people out left and right! I've heard he's had ISP or hardware problems. But you would think he would know someone that has a PC that he could get online and let us know hes ok. I hope everythings ok! We sure could use him with all these Damn trolls running around :( People now days are not happy unless there starting trouble!

Opps sorry Russ. Did a mod delete the thread?

I can only say good things about Roger. He has been very helpful to me.

I did not see the thread before it was deleted. I guess Roger has not been here for over a month. I do hope he can rejoin the forum again soon.

Okay y'all....I know Rog is just fine and he is very busy with his family. No ladies, he is single, but he helps out his extended family regularly.

That card fried his system....and not everyone can be rich like some people and just go out and replace stuff at random. People really need to get a grip and realize this man has a life and he has done more for this board than many. You do not realize how many hours he put in troll-hunting. And the fact that he is down and there is no explanation seems to really grate on people's nerves here. Well ya know, I think the Administrator of this board can track him down if there is a problem. My opinion is ....everyone go home.....there is nothing to see here.

Truly makes me mad seeing people act like this.....gggrrrrrrrrrrr:|

Hmm...just speculation but has the fact that he has no computer been the reason he's unable to post? If that's so, I'm sure some us A'techers in FS/FT and OT would be happy to get a new system going for him, even if it is bare bones. If he's busy with his family life, then that's okay.

From all my lurking in his threads, he's been VERY helpful.

As I said in the now deleted thread, Roger helped me with a troll and I can't say enough good things about him. (And I'm really glad to hear he's okay.)

I've got a few spare parts kicking around. Nothing great but I will contribute a new (in the box) PCI modem or PCI sound card toward a replacement system for Roger. Is someone is willing to coordinate this?

Well if we start a roger fud, then i got a Mother board or two he can choose from

a Soyo 5ema+ super 7 board ATX
and a board I don't know what name it is but it has a pentium 166MMX. I'll gladly donate either one to Roger.

Thanks, Crysla for letting us know about Roger.

In your next communication with him, let him know the majority of the Forum members are thinking of him and look forward to his eventual (if not sooner) return.

If it would help get his system up sooner, I have a (good working) Rage Fury 32 AGP vid card he can have.
