What's wrong with believing in God? Why is it considered a "disease"?

What if you're wrong and you burn in hell for eternity?

Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Malaria, LSD etc. If it gives you hallucinations it's either a disease or a drug.

Have you ever actually spoken to a Christian?

Dawkins is an intolerant bully who, for all his scientific intelligence, has no understanding of the psychology and philosophy behind the belief in God. He does do an amazing rant of missing-the-point straw men though. I imagine he appeals well to internet asshats.

Sure, there are many there watching the child molestation trials. I ask them why God let it happen and they don't know. I speak to a few when they're bombing abortion clinics. I ask them how killing doctors shows their views on the sanctity of human life. They don't know. I talk to a bunch who try to ban books. I ask them how censorship of what others can see and read is an homage to God's creation of free will. They don't know. I see plenty at hospitals while they're praying to God for a dying relative while simultaneusly using the finest technology science can offer and I ask them why they continue to try to block scienctific advances like stem cell research. They don't know. I've spoken to plenty, but can never seem to get any answers.

I don't see any ad hom. Quite the opposite, I praised him for his scientific intelligence. The rest of what I posted is factual. He wrote an entire book in order to rain down intolerance and hate on the beliefs of people that he clearly doesn't understand. To seek to prove or disprove the existence of God through science is not only to abuse science (and as a renowned scientist, Dawkins should know better) but to completely miss the point. And as the internet has more than its fair share of these point-missing haters, I figure he appeals well to them.

When was the last abortion clinic bombing?
And atheist trying to ban nativity scenes and end Christmas (*cough*Stats*cough*) is different than censoring free speech how?
What is wrong with using technology? I'm a Christian and I do...

It is important to realize that most of what you say comes from the conservative evangelical fundamentalist. Not all Christians are. I just love it when people are quick to point out that not all Muslims are terrorist (fundamentalist. And I know they aren't. I know plenty of peaceful Muslims), but no one jumps to point out that not all Christians are Bible-thumping fundamentalist.

Please cite the incident where a "Christian" bombed a baby murder factory.

1. Conservative evangelical fundamentalists NEVER ever condone bombing an abortion clinic.
2. Conservative evangelical fundamentalists invest, invent, and use technology to heal. There are some "Christians" called "Christian Scientists" that don't use medicine; they should be considered "Liberal" Christians.
3. A radical Muslim is inherently different from a radical Christian. A radical Muslim will take Koranic text literally and kill non-Muslims. A radical Christian will take the New Testament and interpret it to sell all his stuff, go on a mission, and turn the other cheek (live as Jesus did, always ask "WWJD")

Why are you allowed to stay? Almost every topic you have started is a troll topic. I just happened to notice them all and know what you are yet others still take the bait.
