Well?

I'm vascillating between:

1) This guy's a genius! and

2) OMFG this is such a scam.

Anyone tried any of the tips in the book and found them to work?

The gist of his book is that you come up with some crappy idea and get cheap labor in China to create and distribute it; out of the millions of consumers out there there gotta be a few idiots that will buy your piece of shit. And since you have your cheap India labor with their faux American accents doing customer and tech support, the "company" runs on auto-pilot and you only have to check on things at most 4 hours a week.

The best parts in his books are the tricks he has found for saving money as a small business owner and taking advantage of the internet to give your product free marketing. Those are useful. But there is nothing revolutionary about his system that is going to change the world. In fact, his system would collapse as more people attempted to imitate it, since it takes much more than a bunch of crappy outsourced products to have a healthy economy. His system only works by skimming off the excess income people have.

I prefer the book "Raising Gangsters for Fun and Profit" myself. It has made me the well respected politician I am today.

Yea but to get to that point you are putting in 100 hour work weeks for half a year, just to enjoy your 4 hour work weeks for 3 months, then the whole thing fizzles and you have to start over again.
