Breaking character here...seriously, what do they have to do to impress you? I don't even watch South Park on a regular basis, and the first two shows of the season not only brought tears to my eyes from both wrongness and laughter, but are even being talked about by the general public at work around the water cooler like they used to do with SNL in it's heyday.

Are you expecting fireworks to jump out of your screen and a hand to pop out of your remote to give you a hand job while feeding you popcorn or something?

Maybe Family Guy and its manatee writing crew is more up your alley.

This season of South Park has been great.

Yes.

Nah really Southpark is a great show but haven't liked the first two episodes of this season.

There are usually a few episodes in a season I don't enjoy at all. For instance, last season:

Liked these a lot: Margaritaville, Pinewood Derby, Butter's bottom Bitch, W.T.F., Whale Whores, The F Word, Pee.

Didn't care much for the rest of them other than a few laughs here and there. Doesn't mean I don't like the show.

South park is getting more and more scenes that occur to me as 'filler'.

For instance, the entire scene at the today show was complete and utter filler. The puking thing got old quick. They wasted a good 1 - 2 minutes just having people on the today show puke. Not that funny.

The story wasn't well put together at all. It was a bunch of off-the-wall things mashed together and they hoped it would stick. Kardashians & Sarah Jessica Parker together with the book? It was interjected in there because they couldn't fill up the entire episode with the original story. Sound like any other show to you? Its the exact reason Im not a big fan of family guy.

I have been a huge south park fan for quite some time. Butters bottom bitch & margaritaville episodes were fantastic last year. Whale whores on the other hand was a horrible episode.

I havent liked any episode this season yet.

I don't understand why South Park must be comic perfection every week. Have people been watching the show for more than a couple years? There's always a few episodes a season that are gems and a few that are pretty bad. The rest are good, but forgettable. These guys are known for doing rush jobs on many episodes.

I agree that these first two episodes have been par at best. I love South Park, I've seen every episode to date and there are MANY, MANY better episodes than these two.
