I just don't see a reason to work when I can just stay home, get money, get an Obama phone and free healthcare that would make my work healthcare look like a bandaid program.

I love Socialism.

Welcome to come to Canada and do it... We got real "free" healthcare, and you get a whole $700 a month to live on sitting at home on welfare.

Yep, may as well. I won't have any benefits to working. Oh wait, I can't not work. I'm a white male in his early 20s!

So that's why the US has such a high unemployment rate? If you don't like the president, you quit yor job... Makes sense.

How many people are going to be pissed when they realize it's not free healthcare, and it just means that they are required to buy goverment healthcare. When canadians want to see a doctor they won't be able to come here anymore because we'll be stuck with the same shit they are.

Naw. It's that we have no reason to. Free money! Oh, well besides that, there's also no middle class. So why work when I can't ever get anywhere and the amount I make is the same as someone collecting unemployment? They also come in to my work and spend their free money right in front of me.

It's not that we don't like the president. It's that he's ruining what America once was, that's all. Hell, plenty of people like the guy or else he wouldn't have won, right?

I'm sorry, but America has been spiraling down the shit hole rapidly over the last few decades. Obama is just applying some bandages without dealing with the cancerous tumor that is engulfing more and more of America each year. That's why people shouldn't vote for either Republicans or Democrats, but then the system has been so well manipulated by those in power that we will always vote for the "lesser evil" party, right?

Dont have a job to quit. All his new jobs went to his little undocumented worker pals. I suspect his 2nd term will be more of the same.

Look up the LIBOR price-fixing scandal. You are talking about mere crumbs from Obama-bucks, while trillions are being skimmed from our economy by major world banks colluding artificially to lower interest rates; and neither Presidential candidate had an official position on the issue. Chew on that for a while.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...interest-rates-says-FSAs-Martin-Wheatley.html

Notice how the story barely made the mainstream media, yet everyone is devouring mindless tweets and Facebook profiles. Not a single voter of the twenty or so I spoke with yesterday at the polling booth knew a thing about LIBOR. Scary!

In other words, there is no significant difference between either candidate, either party, our electorate, or the malaise and corruption underpinning our severe economic woes -- and it won't change any time soon.

Nah. I can't honestly think of a time when the party of the president has made a meaningful impact on my everyday life. I wasn't exactly for Obama, but I don't mind that he won either.

LOL at posts like this. People seem to forget that Obama was already president for four years, if you were going to quit your job and live off of welfare you should have done so four years ago and reported to us your findings of how great life is, living on welfare and food stamps (hint: it's not great at all).

I can't count the number of southern republicans I know who don't work, are on disability, or are on welfare and yet vote republican... much of the south is very brainwashed. These are in laws of mine...thank god I don't see them much and my wife doesn't like talking to them.

Nope, based on Obama being re-elected, looks good for companies that build gas and steam turbines as the coal plants being shut down and low natural gas prices will result in quite a few combined cycle power plants being built.
