I've currently got two 80mm fans in my Enlight 7237, the noise is alright, but the cooling could definitely be better.
I've decided to cut up my case and slap in 92mm Panaflo's in place of the intake and exhaust 80mm holes. I'm also going to enlarge the holes on the front bezel further(they've already been enlarged somewhat). I also figured it'd be best to quiet stuff down in there since I leave my computer on 24/7, so I'm going to mount my fans on rubber gromets and then insulate the case with 3/8" thick carpet padding in an effort to cut down on vibration and noise.
What I want to know is, has anybody gone down this path before? Any problems I should be aware of? It appears that I should be able to cut through the metal with a Dremel tool, but I might go with a holesaw. Which one would you guys recommend?
I'm open to advice...
