Anyone playing Hawken?

Seen my cousin play this tonight, having played and eventually being frustrated with Titanfall how does this game compare?

Game looks incredibly fun,my cousin is new and hasn't figured out everything but it looks easy enough to jump into without completely being dominated as a n00b.

My biggest gripe is how crappy Titanfall runs with its Source based engine,while my cousins 9500gt+ core i3 3220 plays Hawken at low 1080p with about 40fps which is incredible.

So anyone playing it,is it worth playing full time?

I thought the game was great when played it but recently tried again a couple weeks ago and it seemed dead.

I believe they are planning on doing some kind of wipe/reset of character progression which has caused population to severely decline.

Teams were too small for me to really enjoy it.

Have it but only tried it for a few days or so. Never got back into it but I might sometime. How does Mechwarrior Online compare with this?

I played it for a week early on. It was poor and clunky at best.

MWO is a superior game in most aspects if you can forget all about Mechwarrior and Battletech. It's simply put an insult to the IP and taken beyond liberties with the lore of the universe... but it's a relatively good 'massive stompy robot' game.

Been playing a tad bit this morning, first impressions are of a game that is polished and runs well on almost anything. Got the beautiful UE3 to thank for that. Maxed out besides Physics which is disabled yields frames pass 80 at 768p on my gtx650.

I can say one thing i love about this game so far, the training modes with offline bots.Nothing i hate more then jumping into a new game and getting my ass handed to me cause i can't figure out the controls or something else. Like the practice.

Gonna try out MWO too,seems there is much debate between the two but i am open to whatever works for me.:biggrin:

didn't like it, too much smoke, dust and sparks, can't see anything, and the weapons are super-inaccurate.
