Anyone played the game "Hitman"

I looked at it in the store the other day and am thinking about getting it. Is it any good?

Never played the full game but I had the demo and hated it.

I have, and i didn't like it too much. I find it harder to control than half-life. It just doesn't "feel" right.

Its actually not that bad. I thought the game was hillarious. It also incorporates a little strategy. Give the game a chance, play the demo or goto a friends house and try it out. I thought the game was pretty fun.

After configuring the controls and getting used to them, I thought it was a killer game. Just a bit too short. Its hard, but a great game nontheless in my book.

I thought it was a great game. Just don't start playing it expecting Quake, or you'll probably hate it. The controls take a bit to get used to, but they're pretty intuitive once you get used to them. The game has tons of strategy, and it has skeletal animation, which means you can blast a guy with a shotgun, and he'll fly across the room, or cap a guy in the back when he's eating, and he'll slump onto the table. The demo sucked, it didn't give you a good feel of the game. You should try out the full game, just get it at Electronics Boutique, or somewhere else that has a good return policy, in case its not your thing.

Hitman doesn't suck at all, it was one of the best games of the year. Definitely a sleeper hit.

The review in Next-Generation magazine put it best when they said that if it wasn't rushed for X-Mas, it could have been gmae of the year, and I completely agree.

If you can look past it's problems, it's an amazing game.

Funny this thread was posted. Some of my friends said they loved this game, so I dl'd the demo yesterday. That was crap. I guess I should check out the full game.
