Anyone played Resident Evil for Gamecube yet?

Since I never played the Playstation one I'm pretty psyched about it, unfortunately I have no money right now to buy it. It's been getting awesome reviews and the graphics look amazing. Apparently it's extremely violent and gory. That should help kill the myth that Nintendo is only for the kiddies.

So has anyone seen it or played it?

I've seen all the videos out there. It's definitely going to be a gem in Nintendos collection. The lighting is damn near perfect for making an eerie setting.

Gamespot said it's the best looking game ever made. It's been getting good reviews (88%+). I'm curious to see how good it actually looks.

what the gameplay of this game. i'm thinking about buying it, but i hate to own games where i play once and never play again. i would rather rent those kind of games. anyone that's played the ps version... how many times did you play again???

I was also kind of hesitant about the replay value but I read that there are 12 different endings and two different characters to play with. Plus you get to mutilate zombies. That never gets old!!! Hey does anyone remember Zombies Ate My Neighbours for SNES? That game rocked.

Just picked up after my classes from Target..$39.99. The graphics and animations are really really impressive. I never owned a PSX, but I did play it recently on my friend's psx, what a difference! Bump for a great GC title!

i got it and its amazing, but i'm completely stuck. I just got the dog whistle and explored pretty much everywhere that i could go upstairs and down and now i don't know where to go.
