AFAIK: You need both Deployment (Chief research) and Prison Labour (Foreman?) researched

Enclose the laundry room with walls and a door (might need a jail door but don't think so). Place a washing machine and laundry basket inside. Click on the Deployment button along the bottom toolbar, select jobs and you should be able to assign prisoners to the laundry room (very much like the cleaning cupboard or the workshop).

PS: You may require an ironing board too... I've never tried a Laundry Room without one so always thrown one in.

I get that part (Thank you for the in depth analysis BTW), but I was wondering if there is any way other than using prison labor to get them washed. I took a while to get that going, and I am having to defend against "laundry riots" lol.

I do not think so. If there is, I have not found a way.

And yeah, laundry riots... so many problems caused because it's so darn difficult to get to a stage where you can wash your prisoners uniforms :)

Is this worth the $29 price tag? I really want to play it, if it was half the price I'd grab it without further consideration. The price for it just seems stupid though.

I put 30-40 hours into (more then most $60 games have) but most is the learning curve figuring out "why" that happened.. one game no riots for hours, next game riots in seconds. I have enjoyed it, but its got a very incomplete feel. Which of course is OK as its not done. I actually quite like it, but 5-6 hours you can pretty much do all there is. I like the idea alot, but cant see the major building games feel coming from it unless they have plans to add a considerable bit more. Once you get past grants the cash is agonizingly slow. And its just expand to more cells after a point, no real upgrades.. Not like Sim City where you will see small buildings grow into major ones.. a cell is a cell is a cell.. you just build more after a point. there is some challenge on the TYPE of prisoner, the bad boys, are just that.. and then the game turns into MICRO manage hell.. not "i planned well its ok" but "good, god i have to send every guard everywhere to stop crap" non stop..

I like the developer.. I like the idea, i like it so far. but unless they are adding much more down the road (no idea?) I would be on the fence recommending it for the price it is.

It will be cheaper later. They have the price this high becuase they only want people who really WANT to play it to be involved.
