anyone play the ocarina?

i'm thinking about buying one...sounds badass (zelda) and seems like it would be fun to play...
anyone have tips on playing/buying? i'm thinking about getting a zelda one from: http://www.songbirdocarina.com/

It looks like it'd be fun, but it doesn't seem like you can play that many notes on it. Plus it was advertised in Nintendo Power back in the day, so it seems like a gimmick, for the most part.

ahhh...actually it is a very versitile instrument from what ive read...i'm currently listening to some beethoven and other crap played by ocarina and it doesnt seem like it is more limited than any other instrument...gimmick? this is a real instrument...dates back to the stone age or some crap like that, lol

maybe, but it's obviously not very popular If it was, ATOT would be all over it
