Anyone Play that Extreme Volley Ball Game with all the bikini-clad chicks?

I was at the video store yesterday and contemplated renting it.

Is it actually fun, or does it get old after the novelty wears off?
 
DOAX is particularly difficult to review because it delivers on its promise of controllable, near-naked models even though controllable near-naked models isn't what the game should be about.

I've heard both reviews.. decent gameplay and bad gameplay.

I played it for about 10 minutes. gameplay seemed simplistic.. and bad camera angles. maybe theres more to it if i read the instructions.

nice graphics.. and yes, "extra bouncy"
 
It's fun.

Gameplay is harder than you'd think. No meters or anything, all of it is timing based.

It's pretty fun especially if you like watching well rendered boobies bounce around. A rental at least for sure!
 
I was at fry's last week and they had the game set up and I was watching some people play it. I didn't play it myself, but it looked pretty sweet
 
I bought it on the day it came out, played it for a week, and traded it. It's a definite rental. The volleyball aspect of it is incredibly shallow. You are basically supposed to try to collect all the suits and accessories available (which will take a very very long time). Once I found out that collecting everything doesn't unlock a single thing, my desire to play it any longer instantly vanished. I'd say after about 10-20 hours of playtime, you will have experienced everything the game has to offer and really ceases to be fun.

sadly enough, think the makers of the game (Tecmo) designed the game so you COULD play it with one hand... lol

thats suppose to be crap. It ended up being a total flop with only like 32,000 copies sold within the first couple months

got to love this review

"BMX XXX" could have been an entertaining, offensive, and generally fun experience. Instead, it seems that Z-Axis was so busy getting strippers to dance with BMX bikes, that they didn't have time to make a game. There simply is no reason for this title's existence. "Extended Play" gives "BMX XXX" a satisfying 1 out of 5.
