In the campaign, is there any method to the madness of deciding which alters to enter to choose missions, I'm just hopping all over the place and wondered how others played.

Personally, I had more fun by choosing one god and running through the whole game with him/her.

That way, you can play the game five times (if you can stand to!). Also, it's a bit more coherent, and you get a better sense of the different way each god plays.

Sacrifice seems like a bit of a sleeper hit; I mean, I know it won awards, but I just don't hear people talking about it a lot. I think it was a very good game, and a very nice twist on a rather stagnant genre (RTS, that is). The new approach to what are really old and tired elements (resource collection, construction, and "strategy" consisting of defending the enemy to death) along with the beautiful graphics made it one of my favourite games the year it came out.

Thanks for the input, I think it sure was a sleeper. Not a big fan base but it seems the people who like it REALLY like it. I havn't played an RTS for a while now and I'm liking Sacrifice so much for the RTS/third person aspect....

Was there ever a fix to stop the little owl thing from repeating the same things over and over and over and...over?
