Anyone play ONI yet?

I just got it, and it's a great game. Plays like a mix of puzzle action ala Tomb Raider and stealth ala Metal Gear Solid. The graphics are top notch, with the only weakness being able to see through walls when you get really close to them and look sideways. The cameras aren't too intuitive either. An all-around good game.

Oni is fun, and I did a little of the first level and all of the demo. The thing about it is that this isn't a shoot em up game. There is limited ammo and you have to focus on disarming people and kicking their ass.

The weapons aren't that effective to begin with because the enemies have good armor. It takes half a clip to take a guy down. But this is good since it forces you to use hand combat. The moves are great.

i played the demo and i think it's rather innovative yet hard to get used to... i'm not quite used to the new engine but it's fun to play.

I played Oni, and frankly I am hooked ! Its a cross between Tekken for its combat/ Half Life for its good story (good FPS)/ Metal Gear Solid for the sneaking and stuff. Its really hard though, and too bad there is no multiplayer option. Anyway... its FUN !! ;-)

the fighting is awesome, but the graphics are kinda whatevers. konoko looks great, but some of the other characters are lacking. there isn't much variation among a level either. plus, that "search for the console to unlock the doors" thing gets old real quick. the fighting does make up for it though.

I'm loving it so far. I've gotten my butt kicked from here to eternity a time or two because of a certain boss, but I still enjoy it. 🙂

DEFINATELY something to buy! 😀

I hate the "find key/ open door" game play, but the combat is real good. I also hate the fact that it looks like they won't give us multiplayer capability with this release and make us buy a sequel to get it. Other than that it's not nearly as bad as Tomb Raider for the puzzles, or the combat. I agree that it's a hit... just could've been better.

I wish it had a "save anywhere" feature like most games, but other than that the game is fantastic fun to play...

yes, it's a pretty good game. wish they were able to make the backgrounds and stuff better. so they fit more with the character detaisl and stuff.
